New compilation/tribute CDs released

Steve is proud to be a part of 2 really cool new CDs released by BHP music and distributed by Sony. Fretworx, which pays tribute to those fallen in the 9-11 attacks. Steve plays the acoustic intro solo on the song "Triumphant We Stand" with Brian Tarquin on electric guitar.
El Becko - A Tribute to Jeff Beck. Steve does a "full band" version of the "Guitar Shop" ballad "Where Were You". Both CDs were released on the BHP Music label and are distributed by Sony.

The new Violet Samudra CD recording has begun

The initial tracks have been layed down for the follow up to Violet Samudra's debut CD "Bliss Beyond". The new CD promises to be full of really cool exotic and technically amazing work by the group. Projected release date is summer of '09.

Coming soon a new solo CD from Steve "Beauty in the Dark Garden"

Soon to be released on the Inner Sound label is a new version of an old CD. Formerly know as Devotion - Music inspired by the Passion of the Christ, Steve removed some of the songs and added new ones. This new CD will be called "Beauty in the Dark Garden". The theme of the album is the graceful transition we call death. All of the songs are musical poems which take the listener on a journey to a place they think is a place of fear and show how this fear is actually a very beautiful thing. Estimated release date is spring of '09.

New Healing CD series - Life Vibrations

The first of four volumes is now complete and slated for a May release date. Volume 1 is entitled "Turquoise Moon" and features 9 world and ambient/chill out tracks. This CD will go great in any situation, from background music to use in a massage/healing session. Check back for the release date.

Upcoming Jeff Beck Tribute CD

Steve recently recorded "Where Were You" from Jeff Beck's Guitar Shop CD for an upcoming tribute being released by Bohemian Productions (www.bohemianproductions.net).

The Led Zeppelin tribute is now available. Check out the Bohemian Productions website or Guitar 9.com. You can also download the track from itunes.

Re-issue of "Rare Earth"

Inner Sound Entertainment (innersoundentertainment.net), is re-releasing Steve's debut CD, "Rare Earth". The CD contains bonus video footage of live perfromances as well as additional photos of Steve. The cover art has been redone also by Treza Bettencourt. Availability will be announced here.

Guitar Masters CD is now available

Steve is very proud to announce the release of a new compilation CD he is featured on. Its called......you guessed it "Guitar Masters". The track that was used is "Picture of a Purple Sky" from the Violet Samudra CD- Bliss Beyond. Some other folks on this CD you may have heard of before:John Paul Jones, Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Steve Morse, Billy Sheehan, Stanley Clarke and Allan Holdsworth. The Gift of Light Healing CD

The first of many healing CDs to come by Steve is set for release this November. The CD is called "The Gift of Light". It has 3 tracks on it, each around 25 min in length. This CD would be perfect for a massage session, yoga class or meditation. Check back here for info on where to pick up this much anticipated CD.

Upcoming Led Zeppelin Tribute CD

A Led Zeppelin Tribute CD being released on the Bohemian Productions label (www.bohemianproductions.net). Steve covered and did his own rendition of the Zeppelin classic "Friends" from Led Zeppelin III. Check back here for the release date.

Drifters and Coasters in D.C.

Steve will be playing guitar with both the world renound Drifters and Coasters in Washington D.C. on Nov. 8th in honor of our troops who are risking their lives everyday. Steve has played with these groups in the past and will be doing some more shows in the near future with them as well.

Steve's music is featured on major cable networks

The airwaves (or cable wire) is being filled once again with Steve's music. As milions of people enjoy shows such as The Fabulous Life and Flavor of Love, they also get to hear songs from Bliss Beyond and Rare Earth. Steve Wins the June round in the Song of the Year Contest.

Steve WINS the June 2005 round of Song of the Year in the Instrumental/World/Jazz Category
Inward Upward from the new CD, Bliss Beyond, was chosen as the number 1 song for June in the category. The song will now go on to the finals at the end of the year and be eligible for the grand prize. Judges for this round include: Norah Jones, Sheila E. and various high ranking people in the record industry. Keep posted to this site for more details and breaking news.

Steve's Christmas classic "Sounds of the Season" is available.
Sounds of the Season has finally seen the light of day. After struggling with underground obscurity for 5 years the CD has finally been pressed and is available to the public. The new CD from Steve's group VIOLET SAMUDRA is finished!
Bliss Beyond is the title of the new CD from Steve's middle eastern/indian group, Violet Samudra. It has been 5 years since Steve's last CD, "Rare Earth". This new CD shows the evolution of Steve's writing to a much more authenic Indian/Middle Eastern sound and use of classic instrumentation. On Bliss Beyond Steve uses instruments such as Saz, Oud, Tabla, Violin, Cello, Percussion, Cumbus, Voice and of course Guitar.
